Entry 3 - PCB revisions

Before getting into the revisions made and what needs to be made, Grace and I had a meeting with Dr. Hassel to go over some things with the PCB. Dr. McColgan also got Grace and I a meeting with Lyniesha Wright. She's co-author to "Development and Evaluation of the H NMR MoleculAR Application" and will be talking to us about what we can potentially do in AR to provide an educational aspect about the NMR.

Aside from that- I have found the proper footprint for the relays and now have the ability to find the proper footprint for the capacitors in circuit c since Hassel has sent the datasheets for them. With the exception of needing to do that, I have built circuit b and c to *near* completion with the help of Grace looking it over.

It was very easy to replicate the schematic by just copying and pasting the components from Hassel's version. I think after completing the schematic and having Hassel look it over, I'm going to make two versions of the pcb: one where circuit b and c are all on the same board (version 1), and one where circuit and b and c have their own separate pcbs (version 2).

Next steps:

  • Find proper footprints for the 2 capacitors
  • Make additional connections to the Op Amps
  • Make pcb version 1
  • Make pcb version 2
  • Have Grace and Hassel look over it
